Most contractors and suppliers work on privately owned projects. You may file a Mechanic’s Lien up to eight (8) months after the completion of the contract, or the final performance of the work, or the final furnishing of the materials, dating from the last item of work performed or materials furnished if the job was on a commercial project.
Where the improvement is related to real property improved or to be improved with a single family dwelling, or condominium unit, you may file a Mechanic’s Lien up to four (4) months after the completion of the contract, or the final performance of the work, or the final furnishing of the materials, dating from the last item of work performed or materials furnished.
We will complete the Notice Under Mechanic’s Lien Law and file with the County Clerk where the project is located.
